Sneak peek of Heartwarming Squares

July 27, 2020

This sneak peek of a Heartwarming Squares Christmas card is a CASE of my previous Gilded Squares autumn thank you card.

Sneak peek of Heartwarming Squares

That card was also a CASE from the upcoming August-December mini catalogue.

The same design can easily be used with different images and sentiment, to create a card for another occasion.

What small images have you got in your stash that you could use to CASE this card?

COLOUR COMBO

This colour combo mixes Mossy Meadow, Real Red and Crumb Cake.

INSTRUCTIONS

Sneak peek of Heartwarming Squares

Start with a small square card of Mossy Meadow. Cut a total of nine 1″ squares from Crumb Cake (2), Real Red (2), Pear Pizzazz (2) and Heartwarming Hugs DSP (3). Adhere these, evenly spaced, to a square card front layer of Whisper White. Adhere direct to the card front. Using Early Espresso/Real Red/Mossy Meadow ink, stamp 2 each of the outline mug/candy canes/tree from the Warm Hugs set respectively, onto scraps of Whisper White card. Overstamp the solid mug/candy canes/tree with Crumb Cake/Real Red/Pear Pizzazz inks respectively. Die cut the images out with the co-ordinating dies from the Warm Wraps set. Die cut three mini stars from Brushed Metallic Cardstock with the die from the same set. Pop the mini pieces up on the squares with mini dimensionals.

Adhere a piece of Mossy Meadow Diagonal Stripe ribbon between the bottom two rows of squares. Using Mossy Meadow ink, stamp a sentiment from the Warm Hugs set onto a flagged strip of Whisper White. Adhere to a flagged strip of Brushed Metallic card. Pop up over the ribbon with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, stamp another sentiment from the Warm Hugs set using Mossy Meadow ink. Using Early Espresso ink, stamp the outline mug and steam from the same set in the bottom right corner and overstamp the solid mug with Crumb Cake ink.

Thanks for stopping by.

I will edit this post to add shopping supplies for this sneak peek of the Heartwarming Squares card project, when the new catty goes live.
