Today’s tutorial is for a gnome home xmas card. I’m featuring the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set in my projects this week. I’ve already shared a darker, more masculine gnome Christmas card and a gnome tag.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the gnome home xmas card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.
This time we’ve added the gnome home and a lady gnome. I combined the stamp set with the ‘Tis the Season DSP, which is another one of the packs that has a 15% discount this month.
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Pear Pizzazz, Real Red and Pool Party.
Gnome home card tutorial
Start with an A6 landscape card of Old Olive. Mat with Real Red card and Heartwarming Hugs DSP. Using Memento Black ink stamp the gnome home, lady gnome and the gnome with a jingle bell hat, seperately, onto large scraps of Whisper White. Colour with Blends. Die cut the images out with the Stitched Shapes framelits, using a circle for the home and ovals for the gnomes. Pop up on the card front with dimensionals, overlapping the ovals over the top of the circle just a little. Using Memento Black ink, stamp a sentiment from the same set onto a skinny strip of Whisper White. Mat the strip onto Old Olive card and pop up at the top of the gnome home using mini dimensionals just at each end of the strips.
Gnome home card insert
On the Whisper White insert, stamp another sentiment and an image from Gnome for the Holidays, using old Olive ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
