Merry Christmas Eve! My tutorial for you today is for a Many Mates thank you card. It also includes a sneak peek of another one of our upcoming Sale-a-bration freebies; the Oh So Ombre DSP.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Many Mates thank you card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Two of the different patterns from the Oh So Ombre DSP pack are used on the card front. This pack has 48 sheets of 6″ x 6″ paper. The ombre-shaded, double-sided designs (spotted and plain) are in 4 colours, including Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green and Rococo Rose.

This is another simple card, using only a few supplies – great for a beginner. These simple designs also work as quick cards for more advanced crafters or provide a jumping off point for stepping it up.

From 5 January 2021 you’ll have the chance to choose a free Sale-a-bration product with every £45 you spend. Add a pack of dimensionals or some other adhesive to the supplies listed for this project and you’ll qualify for the Oh So Ombre DSP pack.

The colour combo mixes Blackberry Bliss and Whisper White.

Mates thank you card tutorial

Start with an A6 portrait card of Blackberry Bliss. Mat with a card front layer of spotted Blackberry Bliss Oh So Ombre DSP, with the dark part positioned at the top of the card. Cut a narrow panel of the plain Blackberry Bliss Oh So Ombre DSP and position the light part at the top. Using Blackberry Bliss ink, stamp a sentiment from the Many Mates set at the top of the panel. Mat onto Blackberry Bliss card. Wrap Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the panel and secure on the reverse. Tie on a small piece of the same ribbon in a simple knot. Pop the panel up on the card front with dimensionals.

Mates thank you card insert

On the Whisper White insert, using Blackberry Bliss ink, stamp another sentiment from the Many Mates set. Add a strip of the same spotted DSP used on the front of the card, along the base.
