Today’s tutorial is for a friendship flowers birthday card. It combines the Flower & Field DSP (one of our Sale-a-bration freebies) with the Beautiful Friendship stamp set.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the friendship flowers birthday card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

I’ve stepped this card up a little by using a scalloped frame from the Stitched So Sweetly set. If you’re a beginner crafter and don’t have a die cutting machine yet, then you could easily create this card with a simple straight cut rectangle (and possibly step it up by matting onto more Petal Pink card).

The colour combo mixes Petal Pink, Just Jade and Basic Black.

Friendship flowers birthday card tutorial

Start with an A6 landscape card of Petal Pink. Mat with Flower and Field DSP. Using Petal Pink ink, stamp the large duo of roses from the Beautiful Friendship set onto Basic White card. Die cut a large scalloped frame around the flowers using the Stitched So Sweetly set. Using Just Jade ink, stamp leaves in three corners, around the roses. Add a sentiment from the set with Memento Black ink. Pop the sentiment up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Basic White insert, using Memento Black ink, stamp another sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship set. Add a single rose with Petal Pink ink and leaves around it with Just Jade ink.
