My tutorial today is for a donkey trio friend card. Throughout the week I’ve focussed on a different donkey for each project. This time I’m using all three on the same card.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the donkey trio friend card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

The colour combo mixes Granny Apple Green, Blackberry Bliss and Gray Granite.

Donkey trio friend card tutorial

Start with an A6 portrait card of Blackberry Bliss. Mat with Oh So Ombre DSP. Using Memento Black ink, stamp all three of the donkeys from the Darling Donkeys set onto Basic White card. Die cut out with Layering Circles and colour with Blends. Mat each donkey onto the next circle size up die cut from Blackberry Bliss card. Using Blackberry Bliss ink, stamp a sentiment from the same set onto a smaller Layering Circle of Basic White card. Mat onto another circle of Blackberry Bliss card. Pop the donkeys up on the card front. Overlap the sentiment circle into the negative space of the smiling face donkey. Finish with Elegant Faceted Gems.

Donkey trio friend card insert

On the Basic White insert, using Blackberry Bliss ink, stamp a sentiment from the Many Mates stamp set. Add the smiley head of the sitting donkey from the Darling Donkeys set on the lower left corner.
