My tutorial today is for a Hydrangea Posy anniversary card. This card uses the retiring Seaside Spray and Purple Posy In Colors, which are only available while supplies last.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Hydrangea Posy anniversary card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Several of the suites in the January-June catalogue incorporate 2019-21 In Colors. The catalogue runs until 30 June but the 2019-21 In Colors are retiring at the end of April and so ink pads, cardstock and embellishments are now only available while supplies last. Today I’m focusing on the Hydrangea Hill suite which includes Seaside Spray (and Purple Posy co-ordinates beautifully too).

Colour Combo

The colour combo mixes Purple Posy, Seaside Spray and Highland Heather.

Hydrangea Posy anniversary card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Purple Posy. Cut two card front (vertical) strips of Hydrangea Hill DSP (available until end June). Adhere direct to a card front layer of Seaside Spray. Wrap Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon over the join in the DSP and secure on the reverse of the layers before adhering them direct to the card front. Tie a small piece of the same ribbon on in a knot.

Die cut one of the Stitched Nested Labels (retiring) from Purple Posy card. Using Highland Heather ink, stamp a sentiment from Many Mates (retiring) onto the label. Mat onto a slightly larger Stitched Nested Label die cut from Seaside Spray card. Pop the labels up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish with Butterfly Gems (retiring).

Hydrangea Posy anniversary card insert

On the Basic White insert, stamp a sentiment from the So Sentimental set (retiring) using Highland Heather ink. Add a narrow strip of Hydrangea Hill DSP along the base.
