Today’s tutorial is for a Hand-penned oval mini thank you card. This card also gives you a sneak peek of the Hand-penned DSP and the Hand-penned Petals stamp set.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Hand-penned oval mini thank you card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own. You won’t be able to order any of the Hand-penned suite until 4 May but pop them on your shopping list now, ready.
There are just three sleeps left until the new catalogue launches! I can’t wait for you to see it! Hopefully all my customers of the last 6 months have already got their paper copy. If you are one of those and haven’t received your copy yet then please do let me know so that I can fix it. If you’re not a current customer and would like a paper copy of the catty, then please get in touch.
My project today is for a mini thank you card. I like to keep these tucked in my handbag to hand out to anyone who does me a kindness. To be honest I haven’t been out and about to warrant making these for quite a time but I’m hopeful that I might want them soon!
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Polished Pink, Smoky Slate and Blushing Bride.
Hand-penned oval mini thank you card
Start with a 3″ x 3″ square card of Polished Pink. Add card front layers of Smoky Slate and Hand-penned DSP. Using Polished Pink ink, stamp the sentiment from the Hand-penned Petals set onto a scrap of Basic White card. Punch out with the plain oval using the Double Oval punch ovals. Adhere direct to a scalloped oval punched from Polished Pink card. Pop the ovals up on the card front with dimensionals.
Hand-penned oval mini thank you card insert
On the Basic White insert, stamp a flower stem and petals with Polished Pink ink.
Using Polished Pink ink, ink up the duo of flowers from the Hand-penned Petals set, stamp off once (for a paler shade) and then stamp in the corner of the mini envelope.
Thanks for stopping by.
