Today’s tutorial is for a Pear Pizzazz expressions birthday card. Here we use the negative space within the pattern of the paper to place our sentiment.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Pear Pizzazz expressions birthday card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

The colour combo mixes Pear Pizzazz, Basic White and Metallic Gold.

Pear Pizzazz expressions birthday card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Pear Pizzazz. Cut a card front layer of Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP. Choose a design with some white space that allows room to stamp your sentiment. Using Pear Pizzazz ink, stamp a sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set direct onto the DSP. Adhere direct to the card front. Press out a frame and small leaf motif from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack. Use the Adhesive Backed Sequins in the same pack (plus if needed, some additional the Mini Glue Dots) to anchor the frame and leaves in place. Finish with a few extra Adhesive Backed Sequins.

Pear Pizzazz expressions birthday card insert

On the Basic White insert, stamp another sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set using Pear Pizzazz ink. Use the same ink to stamp the marbled ink spot in opposite corners.
