Today’s tutorial is for a Peaceful Snowflake Christmas card. It combines the Wonderful Snowflakes with Peaceful Prints DSP.
Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Wonderful Snowflake embellishments. I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week that share different ideas for using the snowflakes on your projects.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Peaceful Snowflake Christmas card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything anything you don’t already own (the order code for the Peaceful Prints DSP is 156628).
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Real Red, Basic White and Metallic Gold.
Peaceful Snowflake Christmas card
Start with an A6 portrait card of Real Red. Cut a card front layer of Brushed Metallic Gold and adhere direct to the card front. Cut a card front layer of Peaceful Prints DSP and adhere direct to the card front. Using Real Red ink, stamp a sentiment from the Merriest Moments set on the base of a Basic White panel. Adhere a Real Red square above the stamped sentiment. Adhere a Wonderful Snowflake to the centre of the square. Finish the snowflake centre with a Brushed Metallic Dot. Pop the card front layers up on the card front with dimensionals.
Here’s a short video showing how this quick card comes together. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.
Peaceful Snowflake Christmas card insert
On the Basic White insert, stamp another sentiment from the Merriest Moments set using the Real Red ink. Add a strip of the same Peaceful Prints DSP used on the card front down the right side.
Thanks for stopping by.
