Today’s tutorial is for a Blackberry Dahlia thank you card. It combines the Delicate Dahlias stamp set (free with a £90 purchase during Sale-a-bration), with the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack.
Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Delicate Dahlias stamp set. I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week that share different ideas for using the stamps on your projects.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Blackberry Dahlia thank you card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything anything you don’t already own (the order code for the Delicate Dahlias is 156601).
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Blackberry Bliss, Cinnamon Cider and Metallic Gold.
Blackberry Dahlia thank you card
Start with a small square (4-1/8″) card of Blackberry Bliss. Cut a card front layer of Very Vanilla. Using Blackberry Bliss ink, stamp the large solid dahlia from the Delicate Dahlias set on the Very Vanilla layer and adhere direct to the card front. Press out a large frame from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack. Add mini dimensionals to the back of the frame. Pop the frame up over the stamped flower.
Here’s a short video showing how this quick card comes together. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.
Blackberry Dahlia thank you card insert
On the Very Vanilla insert, stamp a sentiment from the Delicate Dahlias set using the Blackberry Bliss ink. Add the smallest flower and leaf and stamp these in the bottom right corner with the same ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
