Tutorial for gingerbread quick card

November 15, 2021

Today’s tutorial is for a gingerbread quick card. This one is super simple, quick to put together – perfect if you need a last minute card.

Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week that share different ideas for using these preprinted cards and envelopes.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the gingerbread quick card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything anything you don’t already own (spoiler – there’s only two items!).

Please remember that our seasonal sale starts at 11pm tonight. These items aren’t included but there are great discounts on cardstock, ink pads and dies from the Annual Catalogue!

For this quick card, I’ve only added the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Card Pack. This Pack has some great fun stickers and so I didn’t even add any stamping (I will do later in the week). Even the sentiment inside was created with a sticker, though you could easily stamp your own if you wish.

Colour Combo

The colour combo mixes Cinnamon Cider, Real Red and Early Espresso.

Fold the preprinted, pre-scored Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards card base. Adhere one of the baking trays from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Card Pack direct to the card front. Use dimensionals to pop up the sentiment cookie on the baking tray. Peel off and stick the slice (just under the cookie), oven glove and red dots.

Here’s a short video showing how this quick card comes together. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.

On the inside of the card, add a Merriest Christmas sticker from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Card Pack.

Finally, fold over your preprinted envelope and your card is ready to go.

Thanks for stopping by.
