Today’s tutorial is for a quick daffodil thank you card. This is one of those cards where the DSP does all the work, you only need to stamp a sentiment into the open space.

Colour Combo

The colour combo mixes Evening Evergreen, Crushed Curry and Very Vanilla.

Quick daffodil thank you card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Evening Evergreen. Mat with a card front layer of Crushed Curry (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″). Cut a panel (3-5/8″ x 5-1/4″) from the Daffodil Afternoon DSP. Tip – cut the sheet of DSP in half (6″away the base of the daffodil leaves and keep more vanilla space above for the text). Using Evening Evergreen ink, stamp a sentiment from the Plentiful Plants set on the negative space above the flowers. Adhere direct to the front of the card.

Quick daffodil thank you card insert

On the Very Vanilla insert, using Evening Evergreen ink, stamp another sentiment from the Plentiful Plants stamp set. Add another pattern of Daffodil Afternoon DSP in a narrow strip along the base and adhere a skinny strip of Evening Evergreen card above it.
