Today’s tutorial is for a foil wave hello card. I’m back to combining the foils with other items from the Waves of the Ocean Collection.
This was one of the make and take cards for my Paper Dolls team at our online March team meeting last week. Why not join us next month.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the foil wave hello card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything anything you don’t already own.
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and pool Party.
Foil wave hello card
Start with an A6 landscape card of Coastal Cabana. Mat a Basic White card front layer onto Bermuda Bay card. Back some Coastal Cabana Foil from the Blue Foils Specialty Paper with Adhesive Sheet. Die cut with the simpler wave from the Waves dies. Adhere to Waves of the Ocean DSP and trim away any DSP outside the foil shape. Adhere direct to the centre base of the prepared layers.
Using the same Waves dies, die cut a thick label from Coastal Cabana card. Thread with Pool Party Sheer Ribbon and wrap around the card front layers. Adhere the layers direct to the front of the card. Cut a small rectangle of Basic White card to fit the label. Using Bermuda Bay ink, stamp a sentiment from Artistically Inked set. Pop this up on the label with dimensionals. Finish by adding a trio of Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels to “drip” from the wave.
Foil wave hello card insert
On the Basic White insert, using Coastal Cabana ink, stamp a sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration set. Add a border of Waves of the Ocean DSP along the base.
Thanks for stopping by.
