Today’s tutorial is for a quick Symbols card. It combines the Symbols of Fortune Specialty DSP with the Bamboo Beauty stamp set and adds a ribbon treatment and few Gilded Gems.
Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Symbols of Fortune Specialty DSP. I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week, that share different ideas for using these beautiful foiled papers..
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the quick Symbols card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything anything you don’t already own.
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Soft Succulent, Smoky Slate and Basic White.
Quick Symbols card
Start with an A6 portrait card of Smoky Slate. Cut a card front layer (3-5/8″ x 5-1/4″) of Symbols of Fortune Specialty DSP and adhere centrally, direct to a card front (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) of Soft Succulent card. Wrap Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer Ribbon around the layers and secure on the reverse. Adhere the layers direct to the card front. Tie on a piece of ribbon to the wrapped ribbon and trim the ends. Secure with Mini Glue Dots. Using Evening Evergreen ink, stamp a sentiment from the Bamboo Beauty onto a (1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″) square of Basic White card. Adhere to a (1-3/4″ x 1-3/4″) mat of Soft Succulent card. Pop the sentiment up on dimensionals on the card front. Finish with a trio of Gilded Gems around the sentiment.
