Tutorial for quick In Color card

May 3, 2022

Today’s tutorial is for a quick In Color card. This combines all the new 2022-2024 In Colors on one card. These colours launch today.

Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the 2022-2024 In Colors. I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week, that share different ideas for using these bright and bold new colours.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the quick In Color card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Start with an A6 landscape card of Orchid Oasis. Cut a card front layer (5-1/2″ x 3-7/8″) of Basic White card. Cut one strip (3/4″ x 3″) of each shade of the 2022-2024 In Color DSP. Adhere the strips higgledy-piggledy, across the centre of the card front layer. Wrap Orchid Oasis Metallic Woven Ribbon around the card front layer and secure on the reverse. Adhere the layer direct to the card front. Using Orchid Oasis ink, stamp the sentiment from the Happiness Abounds set onto a strip of Basic White card. Pop this sentiment up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish by adding one each of the 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots in a row, in the lower right corner.

Here’s a short video showing how this quick card comes together. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.
