Today’s tutorial is for a Wonderful birthday card. This card combines the Charming Sentiments bundle with the Wonderful World stamp set and DSP (a Sale-a-bration freebie duo).

The Wonderful World stamp set is one of our Distinktive sets. These are different from our standard rubber or photopolymer sets (see the video below for an explanation).

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Wonderful birthday card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own (the order code for the Wonderful World stamp set & DSP is 159918).

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Rich Razzleberry, Mossy Meadow and Basic White.

Wonderful birthday card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Rich Razzleberry. Mat with a card front layer of Wonderful World DSP. Using Rich Razzleberry and Mossy Meadow markers, colour direct to a Wonderful World stamp (see video below). Huff and stamp the image on a Basic White panel. Mat onto Rich Razzleberry card and pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Using Rich Razzleberry ink, stamp the birthday sentiment from the Charming Sentiments set onto a scrap of Basic White card. Die cut out with the co-ordinating Sentiment Silhouettes dies. Pop up on the stamped panel with mini dimensionals.

Wonderful birthday card insert

On the Basic White insert, using Rich Razzleberry ink, stamp another sentiment from the Charming Sentiments set. Add borders of Wonderful World DSP and Rich Razzleberry card along the base.

I originally made this with the sentiment stamped onto Flirty Flamingo card.

Flirty Flamingo is one of the colours included in the DSP pack but it didn’t work for me here so I removed it and replaced it with the white version you see at the beginning of the post. It’s okay to change your mind 😉
