Today’s tutorial is for a quick Wonderful World card. The Wonderful World Sale-a-bration freebie has a higher purchase point but does include both a stamp set and a full pack (12 sheets) of 12″ x 12″ DSP to match.
The Wonderful World stamps and DSP set is free with a £90 purchase during Sale-a-bration.
Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Wonderful World stamps and DSP set. I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week, that share different ideas for using these papers and stamps, as well as both combined.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the quick Wonderful World card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own (the order code for the Wonderful World stamps and DSP set is 159918).
I used the Label Me Fancy punch for this card but the flower spacing on the DSP does result in some waste. As this is a free DSP, I didn’t mind in this case. You could try other punches (or dies) if you can’t bear to lose some of your flowers.
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Starry Sky.
Quick Wonderful World card
Start with an A6 portrait card of Old Olive. Cut a card front layer of Wonderful World DSP and adhere direct to the card front. Using the Label Me Fancy punch, punch out six of the small flower patterns from the Wonderful World DSP (see video below). Pop these up at the top and base of the card front with dimensionals. Using Old Olive ink, stamp a sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set onto a strip of Basic White card. Mat onto Old Olive card. Pop up on the card front, in between the flower labels, using dimensionals.
Here’s a short video showing how this quick card comes together. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.
Quick Wonderful World card insert
On the Basic White insert, using Old Olive ink, stamp another sentiment from the Artistically Inked set. Add the small duo of leaves from the Wonderful World stamp set, repeat stamped down the right side with the same Old Olive ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
