Today’s tutorial is for a hidden message Santa Express card. This time we’re combining the Santa Express Memories & More Card Pack with the Cards & Envelope Pack.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the hidden message Santa Express card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Shaded Spruce, Mint Macaron and Smoky Slate.

Hidden message Santa Express card

Start with a Santa Express Card & Envelope. Cut a 4-1/4″ x 6-1/2″ panel of Smoky Slate card. With the long edge at the top, score at 3-1/4″ to create a tent fold mini card. Select one of the small (3″ x 4″) cards from the Santa Express Memories & More Card Pack and adhere direct to the front of the mini card. Adhere the mini card direct to the main card front. Push out three small stars from the laser-cut sheets from the Card Pack. Using Versamark ink, ink the stars, cover with Silver EP and heat emboss (alternatively you can colour the stars with Stampin’Blends). Adhere the stars direct to the card front.

Cut a 3″ x 4″ panel of Basic White card. Adhere direct to the inside of the mini card on the card front.

This hidden panel can be used to add an extra message or perhaps a family photo.

On the inside of the card, using Shaded Spruce ink, stamp a sentiment from the Brightest Glow stamp set. Create a border by trimming a strip of design from one of the 4″ x 6″ cards from the Card Pack. Adhere the border along the base, leaving an even space at each end.
