Today’s tutorial is for a duo of quick Birthday Organizer cards. I’m using the Birthday Card Organizer Kit and making the cards following the instructions from the kit.
Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Birthday Card Organizer Kit. The kit has two different cards, one a more feminine style and one more masculine. You get 6 of each to make (one for each month), co-ordinating envelopes and of course you get the Organizer to store them in. Whether you gift the kit as it comes, or make up the organizer and gift it, it’s a great Christmas gift either way.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the quick Birthday Organizer cards.. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.
Colour Combo 1
The more feminine colour combo mixes Soft Succulent, Petal Pink and Sahara Sand.
Quick Birthday Organizer card 1
Start with a Soft Succulent card base. Press out and adhere the Sahara Sand strip with mini glue dots. Pop the flower spray up over the top with dimensionals. Use mini glue dots to tuck extra leaves and flower bud underneath the popped up flower. Peel off and stick the sentiment in line with the Sahara Sand strip. Finish with Iridescent Sequins.
Colour Combo 2
The more masculine colour combo mixes Basic Black, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.
Quick Birthday Organizer card 2
Start with a Basic Black spotted card base. Press out and adhere the Basic Black dotted triangle in the top left corner, with Tear and Tape. Press out and adhere the Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen triangle in the bottom left corner, with Tear and Tape. Peel off and stick the sentiment onto the card front. Finish with Iridescent Sequins.
Peel off and stick a month sticker to each of the first listings inside the Organizer. Tuck your finished cards into the month wallets.
