Today’s tutorial is for a Santa florets birthday card. The Santa Express Memories & More Cards and Envelopes are versatile enough for year round use. This time we’re mixing them with the Framed Florets bundle for a birthday card.

I’ve used the spotted pattern side for my card but you can flip the card over and this design would work equally well against the plain Poppy Parade side.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Santa florets birthday card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce and Metallic Gold.

Start with a Santa Express Memories & More Card & Envelope. Use the Framed Florets dies to die cut a fancy outer oval from Shaded Spruce card and an inner oval from Basic White card. Using Poppy Parade ink, stamp a sentiment from the Framed Florets set onto the oval. Pop the ovals up on the card front with mini/dimensionals. Using Memento Black ink, stamp the small solo flower twice and the larger solo flower once onto Basic White card. Colour with the duo of Poppy Parade Stampin Blends. Die cut out the coloured flowers and a sprig from Shaded Spruce card with the Framed Florets dies. Adhere the spring and the smaller flowers direct to the base of the ovals and pop the larger flower up over the top with a dimensional. Finish the flowers with Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls.

On the inside, stamp the curved flower spray from the Framed Florets set at the top and base using Poppy Parade ink. Stamp another sentiment from the set between them with Shaded Spruce ink.
