Splendid Day triangle box
Start with a 4″ x 8″ piece of Splendid Day DSP (see the cutting guide in the video below). With the long edge at the top, score at 4″. With each short edge at the top, mark at 2″ (midway). Score outward from each 2″ marking to each of the outer edges of the 4″ scoreline on the DSP. This creates two scored triangles. Fold and burnish all the scorelines. With box edges folded together punch a hole through each set of the folded sides. Thread with Iridescent Trim and tie in a bow.
Prepare a scrap of Basic White card with an Embossing Buddy to ensure that the surface is fully dry and oil free. Stamp the sentiment from the Brightest Glow stamp set using Versamark ink. Cover with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and pour away any excess. If there are any loose specks of powder that are not part of the sentiment, brush these away with the Crafting Brush. Use a Heat Tool to set the powder, moving on to the next section as soon as the powder turns glossy. Allow to cool for a few minutes.
Die cut out with the smaller circle from the Stylish Shapes dies. Using the same die set, die cut a larger circle and a banner from Copper Foil. Adhere the banner to the Copper circle. Pop the stamped circle up on top of the layers with dimensionals. Pop all up on the box front with dimensionals. Finish with a trio of Amber Gems.
