Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Dainty Flowers DSP. This DSP is free with a £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration. I’ll have a couple of tutorials for you this week, that share different ideas for using these papers.
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Blushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive.
Quick dainty thank you card
Start with an A6 portrait card of Blushing Bride. Cut a card front layer (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) of Rich Razzleberry card. Cut the next layer (3-5/8″ x 5-1/4″) of Dainty Flowers DSP. With the long edge at the top, trim 3-1/4″ from either the top or bottom of your card front layer (see video). Flip the short piece of DSP over, for the more subtle pattern. Using Memento Black ink, stamp a sentiment from the Plentiful Plants stamp set onto the DSP. Adhere direct to the top of the Rich Razzleberry layer, keeping the top and side margins even. Take the remaining DSP and adhere direct to the base of the Rich Razzleberry layer, keeping the bottom and side margins even. Cut a strip of 1/2″ x 3-5/8″ Rich Razzleberry card and adhere over the join in the DSP. Adhere the layers centrally, direct to the card front.
Here’s a short video showing how this quick card comes together. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.
Quick dainty thank you card insert
On the Basic White insert, using Memento Black ink, stamp another sentiment from the Plentiful Plants set. Add a border of the Dainty Flowers DSP across the base.
