Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Adorable Owls stamp set. This set is free with a £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration. It include three different owls and three sentiments. I’ll have a couple of tutorials for you this week, that share different ideas for using these cute creatures.
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Smoky Slate, Mint Macaron and Daffodil Delight.
Quick adorable owl card
Start with an A6 portrait card of Mint Macaron. Cut a (2″ x 3-1/2″) main image panel from Basic White card. Using Memento Black ink, stamp a sentiment from the Adorable Owls set at the base of the panel and the owl with party hat above it. Colour the owl in with Stampin’ Blends (Smoky Slate duo, Mint Macaron dark and Daffodil Delight dark. Mat onto (2-1/4″ x 3-3/4″) Mint Macaron card. Cut a card front layer (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) of Smoky Slate card. Starting in the centre, stamp the flying owl with Smoky Slate ink. Work outwards from this central point stamping more owls above, below and side to side until the layer is covered. Adhere the layer direct to the card front. Pop the main panel up on the card front with dimensionals.

Quick adorable owl card insert
On the Basic White insert, using Memento Black ink, stamp another sentiment from the Adorable Owls set. Stamp the owl with the bow tie in the bottom right corner using Smoky Slate ink..
