Today’s tutorial is for a quick favored thank you card. This is a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) of my own Quick Dainty thank you card. I wanted to share it as another way to keep your cardmaking quick and easy. A switch of DSP, colour combo and a sentiment from a different stamp set, creates a whole new card without lots of extra design time.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the quick favored thank you card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own (the order code for the Favored Flowers DSP is 160833).

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Basic Black.

Quick favored thank you card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Petal Pink. Cut a card front layer (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) of Calypso Coral card. Cut the next layer (3-5/8″ x 5-1/4″) of Favored Flowers DSP. With the long edge at the top, trim 3-1/4″ from either the top or bottom of your card front layer (see video). Flip the short piece of DSP over, for the more subtle pattern. Using Memento Black ink, stamp a sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set onto the DSP. Adhere direct to the top of the Calypso Coral layer, keeping the top and side margins even. Take the remaining DSP and adhere direct to the base of the Calypso Coral layer, keeping the bottom and side margins even. Cut a strip of 1/2″ x 3-5/8″ Calypso Coral card and adhere over the join in the DSP. Adhere the layers centrally, direct to the card front.

Quick favored thank you card insert

On the Basic White insert, using Calypso Coral ink, stamp the medium flower from the Artistically Inked set. Add the duo of leaves with Evening Evergreen ink.
