Today’s tutorial is for a circle sayings smile card. Today we are teaming the Circle Sayings stamp set with the 2-3/8″ Circle punch. You get a 10% saving when you buy both together as a bundle.

If you don’t have the punch then a great alternative is to cut a square of Basic White card and rotate it to a diamond shape.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the circle sayings smile card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath and Night of Navy.

Circle sayings smile card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Night of Navy. Mat with a card front layer of Bubble Bath card and then one of Bright & Beautiful DSP. Punch a 2-3/8″ Circle from Basic White card. Using Night of Navy ink, stamp a circular sentiment from the Circle Sayings set at the top of the circle. Stamp another sentiment from the set in the centre with the same ink. Using Gray Granite ink (for a softer look) stamp the seashore image from the Circle Sayings set at the base of the circle. Colour in the seashore image with Bubble Bath and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. (I used Crumb Cake as I don’t have Lemon Lolly Blends yet but both work). Pop the stamped circle up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish with a trio of Adhesive-backed Solid Gems.

On the Basic White insert, using Night of Navy ink, stamp another semi-circular sentiment from the Circle Sayings stamp set. Add a regular sentiment below it in the same ink. Finish with a border of Bright & Beautiful DSP across the base.
