Today’s tutorial is for a solid gems anniversary card. I’ve used the pattern of Fresh as a Daisy DSP that has both Copper Clay and Boho Blue in the pattern (two new In Colors). I opted to mix Boho Blue Solid Gems with a Copper Clay card but could just as easily have used Copper Clay Solid Gems with a Boho Blue card.

The Ringed With Nature stamp set has a great mix of sentiments and images and the flower images in the set work quite well with the DSP pattern.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the solid gems anniversary card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Copper Clay, Boho Blue and Misty Moonlight.

Start with an A6 landscape card of Copper Clay. Cut a (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) card front layer of Basic White card. Using Misty Moonlight ink, stamp a sentiment from the Ringed With Nature stamp set onto the upper section of the card front layer. Mat a wide panel of Fresh as a Daisy DSP to Copper Clay card. Adhere this direct to the card front layer, below the sentiment. Adhere the layers direct to the card front. Add a trio of three different sizes of the Boho Blue Adhesive-backed Solid Gems above and below the DSP panel.

On the Basic White insert, using Misty Moonlight ink, stamp another sentiment from the Ringed With Nature stamp set. Add stamped leaves from the same set in the same ink in the bottom right corner. Stamp over the leaves with the flower heads
