I’ve used the Scalloped Contours dies to create my frame but many other die sets would work equally well (eg. the Countryside Corners die set).
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Moody Mauve, Bubble Bath and Old Olive.
Framed vellum birthday card
Start with an A6 landscape card (tent fold ie. the fold is at the top) of Moody Mauve. Cut a (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) card front layer of Delightfully Eclectic DSP. Using the Scalloped Contours dies, die cut a frame from the centre of the DSP layer. Adhere a panel of Vellum Basics Specialty DSP behind the window and use dimensionals to pop the layers up on the card front (see video). Using Blackberry Bliss ink, stamp a sentiment from the Pansy Patch set onto a small label die cut from Basic White card with another of the Scalloped Contours dies. Adhere the sentiment label to the centre of the vellum panel.

Framed vellum birthday card insert
On the Basic White insert, using Blackberry Bliss ink, stamp another sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set. Add a border of Delightfully Eclectic DSP across the base.
If you need further ideas for using vellum without adhesive showing then please see how I used a sentiment panel for one card and created a vellum skirt for another card.
