Tutorial for duo ribbon tag birthday card

June 30, 2023

Today’s tutorial is for a duo ribbon tag birthday card. This time we’re using them as part of the Zoo Crew suite that they’re intended for.

The Zoo Crew DSP used for this card is included in the 15% off sale but today is the last chance to grab the discount.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the duo ribbon tag birthday card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Start with an A6 landscape card of Petal Pink. Mat with a (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) card front layer of Basic Black card. Using the Tailor Made Tags dies, die cut two animals from the Zoo Crew DSP. Die cut a smaller Tag from Basic White card. Stamp a sentiment from the Zany Zoo set onto the plain white tag. Using Zany Zoo dies, die cut out the singing tortoise and pop up below the sentiment using dimensionals. Die cut tag hole reinforcements for all three tags and adhere them in place. Thread each tag with Petal Pink ribbon from the Duo Ribbon Combo Pack. Tie around each with the Lemon Lime Twist ribbon. Pop the tags up on the card front with dimensionals.

Here’s a short video with tips for tying the ribbon and giving some alternate ribbon duos that you could use. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.
