Today’s tutorial is for a stepped up Blossom Wishes kit card. Kit cards are fabulous because they contain everything you need to make the cards as per the instructions (I made the standard version of this one in my Online Workshop). On the other hand, they can get a bit boring if you’re creating the same card each time. So change things up by adding other supplies from your craft cupboard.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the stepped up Blossom Wishes kit card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own. But really this isn’t about using the same products as me, it’s about mixing in your own stamps, dies or punches and other embellishments.

I’ve added dies, DSP, ink, a stamp set and embellishments. It’s a little over the top just how many items I added but I wanted to give you lots of ideas. You don’t have to add the kitchen sink, feel free to just pick one or two items to add.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Wild Wheat, Flirty Flamingo and Orchis Oasis.

Stepped up Blossom Wishes kit card

Start with the taller slimline card base from the Blossom Wishes kit. Pop the Wild Wheat triple circle card layer up on the card front with dimensionals. Using the Irresistible Blooms dies, die cut out two smaller flowers from the Hello, Irresistible DSP. Trim some of the leaves from the kit and adhere these behind the flowers before popping them them up within the upper and lower circles with dimensionals. Using the Labels Aglow dies, die cut a circle label from Basic White card. Stamp a sentiment from the Circle Sayings onto the label with Flirty Flamingo ink and pop up in the centre circle. Finish with a trio of 2022-2024 In Color Pearls.

Stepped up Blossom Wishes kit card inside

Take one of the branches that you trimmed leaves from for the card front and add this to the inside with mini glue dots. Adding pressed out vellum blossoms with more mini glue dots. Using Flirty Flamingo ink, stamp two sentiments from the Circle Sayings set.
