The Project Life card collection available as a freebie in our Sale-a-bration isn’t just good for memory keeping but also for card making.
Some of the cards are acetate with metallic or colour trim and some are resist cards, with glossy accents that will resist further ink applied to them. There are 30 cards in total in the pack.
The acetate cards are ideal for making quick shaker cards and the resist cards make great backgrounds.
The card base is an A6 landscape of Blushing Bride, matted with Love Blossoms DSP. A resist card from the Memories in the Making Project Life Specialty Card Collection was sponged around the edges with Blushing Bride and Rose Red inks and then matted onto a panel of Rose Red card. The Happy Birthday sentiment was die cut from Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper using the Party Pop-Up thinlits and adhered to the front of an acetate card from the same Specialty Card Collection. Slivers of dimensionals were added behind the silver areas of the acetate (to hide them), to create a shaker sleeve and Blushing Bride and Silver sequins were added behind the window, before adhering it in place on the card front.
On the Whisper White insert, the cake and candle from Party Wishes were stamped in Blushing Bride and then the Make a Wish sentiment from the same set was stamped over the top in Rose Red ink. A thin strip of the same DSP used on the front was adhered down one side of the insert.
