Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mums out there! I hope you have a pamper filled day.

I went with soft pastels and a bit of bling for my Mother’s Day card to my own Mum.

The card base is an A6 top fold portrait of Crumb Cake that is die cut along each edge with the leaf edgelit from the Botanical Builder framelits. Using Early Espresso ink, the sentiment from Crazy About You was stamped on the card front. The Happy sentiment was die cut from Early Espresso card with the Hello You thinlit and adhered above the stamped sentiment. Leaves from Botanical Blooms were stamped in Blushing Bride ink onto Blushing Bride card, die cut out and adhered direct to the card front. Flowers were die cut from Gold Foil and Gold and Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and popped up on the card front with dimensionals. Basic Rhinestones were added to the centres of the flowers and a Botanical Gardens Jewel adhered below the sentiment with  Mini Glue Dot.

Mum’s my Mummy Bear and I’m her Baby Bear so the new Bear Hugs set was perfect for the insert.

Love Blossoms DSP was adhered to the inside back of the card to show through the leafy edgelits. A panel of Whisper White was stamped with a bear and sentiment from the Bear Hugs stamp set using Early Espresso ink. The Love You sentiment from the same set was stamped onto Blushing Bride card with Rose Red ink, die cut out with the matching Bear Hugs framelit and adhered direct to the insert panel.

Hubby made his own card for his Mum so check back soon to see how he did.

Have a lovely day.

Sara xx
