Valentine heart shaker card

January 28, 2018

I can’t seem to get away from pairing hearts and the Painted With Love Specialty DSP for my valentine cards this year.

This time they’re combined with the Petal Palette stamp set and the lush Gold Glitter Flakes.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Rich Razzleberry. Two hearts from the Sweet & Sassy framelit set were used to die cut a frame and a centre from one design of the Painted With Love Specialty DSP. The smaller heart was then used to die cut an aperture in a card front layer of another design of the same DSP pack. The original heart was adhered direct to the card front behind the aperture. Window Sheet was adhered behind the aperture. Foam Adhesive Strips were used to attach the layered frames after sprinkling some Gold Glitter Flakes inside. The original die cut heart frame was popped up on the card front with Mini Dimensionals. Slivers of the same main pattern of DSP were flipped over and adhered direct to the aperture layer, top and bottom. A sentiment from Petal Pallette was stamped onto a scrap of Rich Razzleberry card with Versamark ink and heat embossed with White EP. It was die cut out with the frame from the co-ordinating Petals & More Thinlits and popped up on the card front with dimensionals. Two smaller Sweet & Sassy framelits were used to die cut hearts from more of the DSP and these were popped up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment and the border were stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink. A final Sweet and Sassy heart die cut from DSP was adhered direct to the insert.

Hope you’re having a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.
