Tropical Escape thank you take 2

July 27, 2018

Today I’ve used the Tropical Escape DSP leftover from yesterday to make another simple thank you card.

Don’t forget that this DSP is included in the Buy 3 Get 1 Free offer!

The card base is an A6 portrait of Granny Apple Green. Pieces of Tropical Escape DSP were adhered to a card front layer of card (just for strength and to provide a base to wrap ribbon around). Petal Pink ribbon from the Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack was wrapped around the layer to cover the join in the papers before adhering the papers to the card front. This is actually a different pink to the one in the paper (which is Blushing Bride) but as it is a small pattern it’s not so noticeable. Using Shaded Spruce ink, a sentiment from Tropical Chic was stamped onto Whisper White card and punched out with the Tailored Tag before popping up on the card front with dimensionals. A leaf from another pattern of the DSP pack was die cut out with a Tropical Chic die and adhered direct to the side of the sentiment.

On the Whisper White insert, a strip of DSP retained from an offcut of paper from the front, was adhered direct.

This design is a great way of using the DSP with no waste. Just 2 card front pieces (plus the die cuts) were used.

I shared extra tips for these cards over on my Facebook page yesterday so if you don’t already follow Crafting and Stamping on Facebook please pop over and Like or Follow us there so you don’t miss our extra tips.

Thanks for stopping by.

Have a great weekend.

Sara xx
