Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

Darling Label punch quick and easy cards

August 10, 2018

Today’s card was the make and take at a craft demonstration I gave on Wednesday evening for a lovely bunch of local ladies, most of whom were new to crafting.

The card gave me a chance to show off the Darling Label punch tin which is great for both new crafters (just add card) and for experienced crafters (step it up with your own supplies and use the beautiful tin for storing them in).

The varied sentiments in the set allowed me to give the ladies plenty of choice over the occasion their card could be used for. They were able to personalise their card and alter my design as much or as little as they wanted.

The card base is a small square of Grapefruit Grove card. Half of a Pearlised Doily was adhered direct to the card front and a strip of Share What You Love DSP was adhered direct over the top. Using the included Grapefruit Grove inkspot, the birthday sentiment from the Darling Label kit was stamped onto Whisper White card and then punched out with the Darling Label. Another Darling Label was punched from Grapefruit Grove card, snipped in two and adhered behind the stamped label before popping it up on the card front. A few Basic Rhinestones added a bit more bling.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from the kit was stamped with the included Night of Navy inkspot and the flowery sections of the thanks sentiment were stamped in the corners with the Grapefruit Grove inkspot.

By adding in a Mint Macaron inkpad, some of the ladies were able to make a different colour version.

If you’d like a class or a demonstration given to a group you’re part of then please email me.

Have a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
