Tranquil Star of Light Christmas card

October 27, 2018

Today I have another masculine Christmas card for you, inspired by the Joyous Noel Specialty DSP. I love all the Copper foiling in this pack. There are pretty patterns on the flip side but I just can’t get away from the metallics 🙂

By cutting two card front layers on the diagonal in one go, I have enough paper cut to make two cards with just one cut.

The colour combo is taken from the Joyous Noel Specialty DSP and is Tranquil Tide, Sahara Sand and metallic Copper.

The card base is an A6 portrait of  Tranquil Tide. Two card front layers of Joyous Noel Specialty DSP were cut diagonally and adhered to a slightly larger card front layer of Sahara Sand, then two different width slivers of Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper were adhered along the join in the papers before adhering all layers direct to the card front. An Everyday Label was punched from Whisper White card, stamped with a sentiment and trios of stars from the Star of Light set using Tranquil Tide ink and popped up on the card front with dimensionals. Mini branches were die cut from more Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper using the Pretty Pines thinlits and adhered above the sentiment.

On the Whisper White insert, a sentiment and stars from the Star of Light set were stamped with Tranquil Tide ink and the swirl from the same set was stamped in Sahara Sand ink.

Have a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
