I’m still working with the Bring on the Presents card design from yesterday but I have a very different (and definitely non-traditional) colour combo for you today. This was for a friend who’s favourite colour is orange.

I bought the 2018-2020 In Color Stampin’ Emboss Powder set when it was in the sale recently and couldn’t resist using the Grapefruit Grove to give a little texture to this card.

The colour combo is Grapefruit Grove, Gray Granite and Calypso Coral.

The card base is shorter than A6 (to allow for the bigger bow but still fit in a regular envelope), top folding portrait card of Grapefruit Grove. Using Versamark ink, Sheet Music was stamped onto a card front layer of Gray Granite and heat embossed with Grapefruit Grove EP. Using the diagonal pattern “ribbon” dies from the All The Presents thinlits, two ribbons were die cut from Grapefruit Grove card and adhered direct across the card front both vertically and horizontally, with excess snipped away. Versamark ink was used to stamp the label and a sentiment from the Bring on the Presents stamp set onto Gray Granite card, then it was heat embossed with Grapefruit Grove EP before die cutting out with the matching label threading with Calypso Coral Sheer Ribbon and attaching to the card front. Using Memento Black ink, the circular bow from the Bring on the Presents stamp set was stamped on to Whisper White card and coloured with both Calypso Coral Blends and shaded with the Colour Lifter. The bow was die cut out and popped up on mini dimensionals so that over hangs the top of the card.

On the Whisper White insert, Calypso Coral ink was used to stamp sentiments and holly leaves from the Merry Christmas To All set.
