Happy New Year!
I have another of our November convention projects to share with you today.

I have an admission to make on this one. Usually at convention, an onstage demonstrator walks us through each project (though of course we’re free to vary them as we wish) but I don’t remember anything about this particular project – I may have been distracted by the new catty and Sale-a-bration brochure – shiny 😂
We got the Amazing Life stamp set as a convention freebie and so I’ve made up the project to look pretty much like the image in the sample pack but it’s possible I varied the colours slightly.

My colour combo is Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive and Soft Saffron.

The card base is a Whisper White Narrow Note Card (which comes with matching envelope). Old Olive ink was used to repeat stamp a sentiment from the Amazing Life set down the front of the Note Card. More Old Olive ink was used to stamp the birthday card from the set onto a scrap of Whisper White card. This was then coloured in using a Blender Pen with Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive and So Saffron ink pads. A Stitched Shape framelit circle was used to die cut out the cake. Small trios of spots from the same Amazing Life set were randomly stamped around the cake using So Saffron ink. The stamped circle was matted onto a scallop circle die cut from Blackberry Bliss card with a Layering Circle framelit and then Old Olive Linen Thread was wrapped around before it was popped up on the Note Card from with dimensionals. A few Share What You Love Artisan Pearls and a bow of the Old Olive Linen Thread were added to finish.
The top tier of the cake was also stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink on the little matching envelope.

On the inside of the Note Card, another sentiment and just the top tier of the cake from the Amazing Life set were stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink. A Blender Pen was used to colour the outline word within the sentiment using more Blackberry Bliss ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
Enjoy the rest of your bank holiday. Just two more sleeps to go!
