I was really sorry that I needed this card, but the Lasting Lily set (which you can get free with purchase during Sale-a-bration) is so appropriate in both its sentiments and images.

Sad as these occasions are, it’s all the more important to let our friends and family know we’re thinking of them in these difficult times.

The colour combination used is Merry Merlot, Gray Granite and Mossy Meadow.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Merry Merlot, matted with Gray Granite card. Using Merry Merlot ink, the flowers from Lasting Lily were stamped onto a card front layer of Whisper White. Stems and leaves were added with Mossy Meadow ink. Merry Merlot was used again for the sentiment which is from the same set. To finish, the texture stamp from the set was stamped all around the edges of the layer using Gray Granite ink.

On the Whisper White insert, the smaller flower and stem from the Lasting Lily set were stamped in Merry Merlot and Mossy Meadow inks respectively, stamping off first each time to give a paler shade of each. Another sentiment from the set was stamped at full strength with Merry Merlot ink.
