Sometimes it’s worth having a bit of fun with colour and choosing shades that you wouldn’t (normally) find in the real life products. I’ve certainly not seen cupcakes this colour 😂

Today’s birthday cupcake card combines the Sale-a-bration set Hello Cupcake (free with purchase) and the Share What You Love Specialty DSP from the main catalogue.

The colour combo uses Mint Macaron, Highland Heather and Mango Melody.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Mint Macaron, matted with Share What You Love Specialty DSP background. Onto a panel of Whisper White card the cupcake base from Hello Cupcake was stamped with Highland Heather ink. Mango Melody ink was used to stamp the cupcake filling and then Mint Macaron for the frosting. A sentiment and a cupcake topper were added with Highland Heather ink before matting the panel onto Mint Macaron card and popping it up on the card front. Mint Macaron Faceted Dots were added as sprinkles to finish.

On the Whisper White insert, another cupcake base was stamped with Mango Melody. This time the cupcake filling was stamped with Mango Melody but stamping off first for a paler shade. The frosting was more Mango Melody ink at full strength. Sprinkles and another sentiment were added using Highland Heather ink.
