When I first got hold of the Botanical Butterfly DSP I loved how they had the same design in both a colour version and black and white.

I used that continuous pattern on two previous cards here and decided to recycle the idea with the Puzzle Pieces thinlits.

The colour combo mixes So Saffron, Basic Black and Whisper White.

The card base is a small square of So Saffron. Using the jigsaw grid die from the Puzzle Pieces thinlit set, two sets of puzzle pieces were die cut from the same pattern area of both black and white and colour versions of co-ordinating Botanical Butterfly DSP. The coloured version was adhered direct to a slightly larger mat of Basic Black, leaving out 4 puzzle piece. The corresponding black and white pieces were adhered in their place (the remaining pieces from both sets were retained for another card). A sentiment from the Needle & Thread set were stamped onto a strip of Whisper White card using Memento Black ink. After matting the strip onto Basic Black card it was adhered over the corner of the matted jigsaw pieces and excess was trimmed away. The layers were adhered direct to the card front.

On the Whisper White insert, a strip of Botanical Butterfly DSP was added to one side.
