In June 2019, Stampin’ Up! will be releasing the new annual catalogue (I get to see it on Saturday at Onstage, just one of the perks of being a demonstrator). To make room for the new we have to lose some products along the way. Stampin’ Up! do a great job of reviewing our product lines and have plans to make some big changes. Those changes will especially impact on the Stampin’ Trimmer and our die-cutting and embossing line (see more below). There are also going to be changes to pricing – to be honest, that isn’t much of a surprise since most of the rest of my shopping has gone up much more than my crafting stash in the last few years.
The current Stampin’ Trimmer will “retire” as of 3 June 2019, including all accessories—replacement cutting blades, scoring blades, and cutting mats. We will be getting a new trimmer but we don’t know exactly when. SU! want to get it right so they won’t release it until they’re sure that it is. For now, if you need any replacement accessories please order them soon. We have in stock what is hoped to be a 6 month supply of trimmer blades, but they could go more quickly than that.
SU! are also making some big changes to our die-cutting and embossing product line. In the future they will be able to be more innovative and respond quicker to order levels, to keep pace with demand. We will have a new style of dies and embossing folders available in the new 2019-2020 catalogue! (I can’t wait to see). We won’t offer a die-cutting & embossing machine in the new catalogue but you will be able to use the new accessories with your existing Big Shot or other die cutting machine.
The complete list of our other Retiring Products will be announced on Monday, 15 April but I wanted to share this news as soon as possible in case you need to stock up.
Thanks for stopping by.
