DSP Share Project 3

June 7, 2019

On to DSP share project 3 (please scroll back to see previous projects).

To celebrate the launch of the new annual catalogue I’m offering a paper share. This is a chance to get a little of all the different papers that are new out. And to help you use it, I’m sharing a series of projects with patterned paper as a major element.

DSP Share Project 3 using Bird Ballad.

This project is one that I repeat on a regular basis. It’s great for using up scraps of DSP. A stack of gifts works for birthdays and also for Christmas.

This colour combo mixes Petal Pink and Pool Party with just a splash of Old Olive provided by the DSP.

Instructions

DSP Share Project 3 using Bird Ballad.

Start with an A6 portrait card of Petal Pink. Mat with Pool Party card. Using Pool Party ink, stamp a sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays onto a Whisper White card front layer. Cut three rectangular scraps of Bird Ballad DSP. These were 1-1/8″ deep by 3″ width and decreasing by 1/2″ each level, but they can be any decreasing set of sizes that fit well on the card front. The Organdy Ribbon is pretty transparent and so a strip of Whisper White helps to set off the ribbon and hold the pieces of DSP together. Wrap the Organdy Ribbon around the strip of Whisper White and secure on the reverse before adhering the DSP stack direct to the card front. Add a bow of the same ribbon to the top of the gift stack with a mini glue dot.

Insert using Itty Bitty Birthdays stamps and Bird Ballad DSP.

On the Whisper White insert, stamp two more sentiments from Itty Bitty Birthdays using Pool Party ink and add a strip of Bird Ballad DSP across the base.

Thanks for stopping by.

If you want to join in the paper share then check out the details here and email me.

Have a great weekend.
