Who says that poppies must be red? These Purple Peaceful Poppies use Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape instead.
These are the cards I sent out to my current customers with their paper copies of the new January-June mini catalogue and Sale-a-bration brochure.
The background is provided by the Stone embossing folder. Part of a bundle (which also includes the Power of Hope stamp set) that you can get free with a £90 purchase during Sale-a-bration.
Colour Combo
The colour combination mixes Highland Heather, Smoky Slate and Gorgeous Grape.
Instructions
Start with an A6 landscape card base of Highland Heather. Cut a card front layer of Smoky Slate, run it through the Stone embossing folder and adhere direct to the card front. On a wide strip of Whisper White stamp a sentiment from Peaceful Moments and a cluster of flowers from Painted Poppies using Memento Black ink. Colour the stamped poppies with the Highland Heather Blends and adhere the strip direct to the card front. Die cut the solid flowers and stamens from Highland Heather card using the Poppy Moments dies. Use dies from the same set to die cut outline flowers from Gorgeous Grape card. Assemble the flowers and pop up on the card front with dimensionals.
On the Whisper White insert, stamp the large stemmed poppy from Painted Poppies on the left. On the right, stamp the cluster of poppies from the same set, both with Highland Heather ink.
We’ll be using the Peaceful Moments bundle in our January card classes if you’d like to give them a test drive.
Have a great weekend.
Thanks for stopping by.
Sara xx
