Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

Peaceful Poppies DSP peek

January 2, 2020

This Peaceful Poppies DSP peek, shows how a pretty paper only needs a simple sentiment to create a finished card.

Please pop back tomorrow when all the supplies will be available to buy.

Peaceful Poppies DSP peek

My crafting new year resolution (you may have seen already on my FB page) is to use all my DSP this year. I hoard all the pretty papers and then feel guilty when a new catalogue comes out and I want to buy more!

So I’m making a concerted effort this year and at the end of each month I’ll share with you how much I have left. And yes, I’m buying still more tomorrow when the January-June Mini Catalogue and the Sale-a-bration brochure launch! Lol. Expect plenty of projects using DSP this year!

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Rich Razzleberry with just a hint of Poppy Parade and a splash of Whisper White.

Instructions

Peaceful Poppies DSP peek

Start with an A4 portrait card of Rich Razzleberry. Adhere a layer of Peaceful Poppies DSP direct to the card front. Using the Painted Labels set, die cut a large label from Rich Razzleberry card. Using Rich Razzleberry ink, stamp a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments set onto a scrap of Whisper White. Die cut it out with the smaller label from Painted Labels set, leaving a little extra negative space on the right. Adhere the stamped label direct to the Razzleberry one and then pop both up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish with a Frosted Flower Embellishment.

Insert using sentiment from Peaceful Moments and Peaceful Poppies DSP strip.

On the Whisper White insert, stamp another sentiment from the Peaceful Moments set using Rich Razzleberry ink. Add a strip of the leftover paper from the front of the card along the base of the insert.

Painted Labels die cut and emboss these labels at the same time.

The Painted Labels dies don’t just cut the label but they also emboss a very narrow frame around the edges of these two labels – very classy.

We’ll be using the Peaceful Poppies suite in our January card classes if you’d like to give it a test drive.

Paper copies of the new catalogue are available now. Would you like one to mark up with your wishlist? If you don’t already have a demonstrator and you’re in the EU, then please email me and I’ll pop one in the post to you.

Thanks for stopping by.
