This Love You More Than card is a masculine style that I created for my hubby’s birthday a few days ago.
I’ve used a similar dark (chocolate/coffee/cookie) colour combo with this set before for my team swap cards. But it also looks great livened up with a splash of colour on this cocktail card.
There is a teeny sneak peek on this card as I couldn’t resist using the brand new Brushed Metallic cardstock for the frame. This isn’t out until 4 August but as a demonstrator I get to preorder!
COLOUR COMBO
This colour combo mixes Early Espresso, Metallic Bronze and Crumb Cake.
INSTRUCTIONS
Start with an A6 portrait card of Early Espresso. Add Early Espresso card to some Foam Adhesive Sheet and die cut the large sentiment from it using the Love You More Than dies. Pop this up on a card front layer of Whisper White. Using Early Espresso ink, stamp a sentiment from the the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set, below the popped up version. Adhere these layers direct to the card front.
From a card front layer of Early Espresso card, die cut an aperture in the centre using the Stitched Rectangle dies (choose one wide enough to span the die cut sentiment we are using). From Brushed Metallic Bronze card (due out on 4 August), die cut a frame for the aperture using the same die set. Adhere these layers together direct and pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Using Early Espresso ink, stamp the outline chocolates from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set onto a scrap of Whisper White card. Stamp the solid chocolates over the top of the outline one with Crumb Cake ink. Die cut out with the matching die. Pop these up on dimensionals below the sentiments.
On the Whisper White insert, stamp sentiments from the A Grand Kid set using Early Espresso ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
