Tutorial for mates get well card

December 23, 2020

Today’s tutorial is for a Many Mates get well card and also provides sneak peek of one of our upcoming Sale-a-bration freebies; the Flower & Field DSP.

Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week I’m sharing the Many Mates stamp set. This is a great set, with sentiments for many occasions and for both the inside as well as the outside of the card. I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week that uses it.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Many Mates get well card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

The card front shows the front and back of just one of the designs in the Flower & Field DSP pack. This is a full pack of 12″ x 12″ paper that includes 2 each of 6 double-sided designs. I also used these papers to demonstrate how you can create a feminine and masculine card from opposite sides of the same paper in my Online Workshop a couple of weeks ago. If you’re not already a member of my Facebook Group for the Online Workshops then please just click here and click to join and you’ll be able to access both those projects and future ones.

From 5 January 2021 you’ll have the chance to choose a free Sale-a-bration product with every £45 you spend.

Start with an A6 landscape card of Cherry Cobbler. Cut decreasing size card front layers from Basic Black and Field & Flowers DSP. Cut the DSP diagonally corner to corner both ways and flip over the design on two opposite sides (see video). Adhere the DSP direct to the Basic Black card front layer and then direct to the card front. Using Cherry Cobbler ink, stamp a sentiment from the Many Mates set onto a small rectangle of Whisper White card. Mat onto Basic Black card and pop up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, using Cherry Cobbler ink, stamp another sentiment from the Many Mates set. Add a strip of the same DSP used on the front of the card, along the base.

Thanks for stopping by.

You can find supplies for this Many Mates get well card in my online shop with the exception of the Flower & Field DSP which won’t be available until 5 January 2021.
