Tutorial for whimsy holly card

November 10, 2021

Today’s tutorial is for a whimsy holly Christmas card. The Whimsy & Wonder papers mix well with so many of our stamp sets and dies, not just those in the suite.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the whimsy holly Christmas card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

The labels used on this card are from two different die sets but they pair together really well as they are the same shape and both emboss as well as die cut.

Start with an A6 portrait card of Mint Macaron. Mat with a card front layer of Blushing Bride and then one of Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP. Die cut a large label from Mint Macaron card using the Painted Label dies. Die cut a smaller label from Basic White card using the Tasteful Label dies. Using Mossy Meadow ink, stamp a sentiment from the Tidings & Trimmings set onto the smaller label. Adhere direct to the larger label and pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish with holly leaves die cut from a scrap of Mossy Meadow card with the Christmas Trimmings dies and silver Metallic Pearls coloured with a dark Flirty Flamingo Blend.
