Tutorial for gingerbread pudding Christmas card

November 17, 2021

Today’s tutorial is for a gingerbread pudding Christmas card. This time the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards & Envelopes just provide the base. The stamped pudding comes from the Sweets & Treats stamp set. I “borrowed” another sentiment from the Delivering Cheer set for the inside as I thought the font looked similar.

You could save 15% on the Cinnamon Cider ink pad used on this project or 20% on the Scalloped Contour or Stitched Rectangle dies but only if you grab them before the Seasonal Sale ends at 11pm tomorrow night (18 November).

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the gingerbread pudding Christmas card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

This card was one of the make and takes for our Paper Dolls November team meeting. I can’t send stamped images, so everyone used their own stamps for the main image. Some of the team created Christmas cards and some birthday cards, showing just how versatile the card bases are. Why not check out this month’s joining offer and take part in our December team meeting.

Fold the preprinted, pre-scored Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards card base. Using the Scalloped Contour dies, die cut a medium stitched scalloped rectangle from Brushed Metallic Gold. Die cut a smaller Stitched Rectangle from Basic White card. Using Memento Black ink, stamp the pudding from the Sweets & Treats set onto the white panel and colour with Blends. Add a sentiment from the set below the pudding using Cinnamon Cider ink. Adhere the finished panel direct to the Metallic Gold panel and pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish with Garden Gems.

The inside of the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards are blank and white for you to add your own sentiment. Tip if you make a mistake, stamp again onto a Basic White insert and adhere it to the inside back of the card.

Using Cinnamon Cider ink, stamp a sentiment from the Delivering Cheer stamp set. Add a border of the gingerbread cookies from the Sweets & Treats set across the base. Tip – position your card on some grid paper, stamp the first cookie in the centre and work outwards in both directions.

Thanks for stopping by.
