Today’s tutorial is for a friendly hello card. The sentiment inside is for a birthday but there’s also a general occasion alternative within the set.
Many of our Sale-a-bration products are free with a £45 purchase. This one however, is free with a £90 purchase, but that’s because you’re getting both a stamp set and co-ordinating DSP pack.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the friendly hello card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything anything you don’t already own (the order code for the Friendly Hello stamps and DSP is 159990).
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Petal Pink, Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight.
Friendly hello card
Start with an A6 landscape card of Petal Pink. Mat with Coastal Cabana card and then Friendly Hello DSP. Using Coastal Cabana ink, stamp a sentiment from the Friendly Hello set onto an elongated octagon label die cut from Basic White card with the Hippo & Friend die set. Adhere the sentiment direct to a larger same shaped label die cut from Coastal Cabana card. Pop up the layers up on the card front with dimensionals. Using Petal Pink ink, stamp the duo of flowers onto a large scrap of Basic White card. Colour with the Petal Pink Blends duo and the Dark Daffodil Delight Blend. Fussy cut out and pop up the outer petals over the edge of the sentiment labels. Finish with some Polished Dots.
Friendly hello card insert
On the Basic White insert, using Coastal Cabana ink, stamp another sentiment from the Friendly Hello stamp set. Stamp the small flower and leaves in the lower right corner with Gray Granite ink (for a softer look) and colour with Petal Pink Blends duo, Dark Pool Party and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends.
Thanks for stopping by.
