Today’s tutorial is for a quick Driving By card. It combines the Driving By stamp set (free with a £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration), with elements of the Hey Sports Fan suite.

Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Driving By stamp set. I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week that share different ideas for using the stamps.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the quick Driving By card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything anything you don’t already own (the order code for the Driving By stamp set is 158099).

Colour Combo

The colour combo mixes Bumble Bee, Poppy Parade and Night of Navy.

Quick Driving By card

Start with an A6 landscape card of Bumble Bee. Cut a card front layer (3-5/8″ x 5-1/4″) of Basic White card. Using Stazon Black ink, stamp the car with balloons and a sentiment from the Driving By stamp set on the upper half of the layer. Colour the car with Stampin’ Write markers. Cut a card front layer (1-1/2″ x 5-1/4″) of Hey Sports Fan DSP and adhere direct to the bottom of the stamped layer. Adhere a skinny strip of Poppy Parade above the DSP. Trim away any excess. Adhere the stamped layers to a card front layer (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) of Poppy Parade card and then direct to the card base. Finish with Resin Stars.

Quick Driving By card insert

On the Basic White insert, using Stazon Black ink, stamp another sentiment from the Driving By set. Add a border of the Hey Sports Fan DSP along the bottom edge.
